On January 12, David's second cousin, Florence Liverette, celebrated her 105th birthday at the Veterans' Home in Black Mountain, NC. She was the oldest living female veteran in North Carolina. It was quite an event. Her nephew. Bob, had the Rolling Thunder do a ride for her, and her daughter, Aliesa, put on a big party. We encouraged people and politicians to send her cards, and dignataries from the state government came to present her with a plaque. In fact the local TV station came to honor her as well. A few months later she passed away with her daughters at her side. About that time her niece, Bobbi died as well. May they be in peace.

On October 7,2023 my cousin Monica's daughter, Amy, got married.We couldn't attend the wedding but my brother Tony and his wife, Melinda did; and they sent me two pictures of this special event.

Her son ,Steve,got married inAugust,2024, and Amy sent me a picture.
